# What is RoomDrop?

> Dorm room delivery for college campuses — food delivered straight to your door.

## The problem we solve

Delivery drivers can't get inside your dorm. They drop your food at the lobby, you get a "delivered" notification, and then you're running downstairs in your socks hoping it hasn't been touched.

**RoomDrop fixes that.** We put a verified student runner between the delivery driver and your room. They pick up the order at the building entrance and carry it straight to your door.

## How it works in 30 seconds

    Open the iOS app and place a drop. We'll give you a phone number — it's unique to this order.

  <Step title="Use that number in your delivery app">
    In DoorDash or Uber Eats, before you confirm checkout, tap **Send as gift** and enter the RoomDrop number we gave you. That's it — you're done with your part.

  <Step title="We take it from here">
    RoomDrop starts a Live Activity on your Lock Screen and sends push notifications as your drop progresses. We intercept the order from your delivery driver and hand it off to a campus runner.

  <Step title="Delivered to your door">
    Your runner brings the food straight to your room. You're charged \$3.99 for the drop, plus an optional tip.
