# Getting Paid

> How runner payouts work through Stripe Connect.

## Earnings per drop

| Drop type | Base pay   | Tips                 |
| --------- | ---------- | -------------------- |
| Standard  | **\$3.00** | 100% of customer tip |
| Rush      | **\$3.00** | 100% of customer tip |

Tips are optional and chosen by the customer after delivery ($1, $2, or \$3). There is no tip cap — every cent goes directly to you.

## How payouts work

RoomDrop uses **Stripe Connect Express** to send your earnings. After each delivery, your earnings are queued for payout. Stripe processes payouts on a rolling schedule.

You manage your payout method and schedule through your Stripe Express dashboard, which you can access from within the RoomDrop app under **Runner → Payouts**.

## Payout timing

Stripe Express typically processes payouts within 2 business days after funds are available. Your exact timing depends on your bank and payout schedule settings in Stripe.

## Setting up Stripe

You must complete Stripe onboarding before you can receive payouts. This includes:

* Connecting a bank account
* Completing identity verification

If your Stripe setup is incomplete, your earnings will queue but not transfer until you finish onboarding. See [Getting Started](/runners/getting-started) for setup steps.

## Viewing your earnings

Your earnings history is available in the **Runner** tab of the RoomDrop app. Each completed drop shows the base pay plus any tip received.
