Tips are optional and chosen by the customer after delivery (1,1, 2, or $3). There is no tip cap — every cent goes directly to you.

How payouts work

RoomDrop uses Stripe Connect Express to send your earnings. After each delivery, your earnings are queued for payout. Stripe processes payouts on a rolling schedule. You manage your payout method and schedule through your Stripe Express dashboard, which you can access from within the RoomDrop app under Runner → Payouts.

Payout timing

Stripe Express typically processes payouts within 2 business days after funds are available. Your exact timing depends on your bank and payout schedule settings in Stripe.

Setting up Stripe

You must complete Stripe onboarding before you can receive payouts. This includes:
  • Connecting a bank account
  • Completing identity verification
If your Stripe setup is incomplete, your earnings will queue but not transfer until you finish onboarding. See Getting Started for setup steps.

Viewing your earnings

Your earnings history is available in the Runner tab of the RoomDrop app. Each completed drop shows the base pay plus any tip received.
Earnings are subject to Stripe’s standard processing. RoomDrop is not responsible for delays caused by Stripe’s systems or your bank.
