Visit roomdropapp.com or open the RoomDrop iOS app and navigate to Become a Runner. Fill out the application with your:
  • Campus and student status
  • Contact information
  • Availability

Onboarding

After applying, the RoomDrop team will review your application. If approved, you’ll go through a brief onboarding process that covers:
  • How the drop flow works
  • Building access and key management
  • Code of conduct
  • Stripe Connect account setup

Setting up Stripe

Runner payouts are handled through Stripe Connect Express. During onboarding, you’ll be prompted to connect or create a Stripe Express account. This is how RoomDrop sends you your earnings. You’ll need:
  • A valid email address
  • Your bank account details (for payouts)
  • ID verification (required by Stripe)
Stripe Connect setup takes a few minutes. Once complete, your account is ready to receive payouts.

Get the runner app

The runner-facing features are built into the same RoomDrop iOS app. Once your runner account is approved, you’ll see the Runner tab in the app. This is where you accept drops, see active drops, and manage your activity.

Building access

RoomDrop tracks which buildings you have key access to. When a drop is available in a building you have access to, it will appear in your queue. Building access is managed by the RoomDrop team — let them know which buildings you can enter.

Start accepting drops

Once you’re onboarded, drops will appear in your runner feed whenever an order is ready for pickup in one of your accessible buildings. Tap to accept and start earning.
